Guest Speaker: Anne Meredith

Anne holds a degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University and a certificate in International College Advising from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. After growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, she moved to China in 2009. Her first-hand knowledge of modern Chinese society and ability to speak fluent Mandarin Chinese make it easy for her to connect with Chinese high school students.

Before she began working as an education consultant, Anne worked as a teacher, and her teaching experience informs her approach to college advising. She views the college application process as an educational process which gives students the opportunity to improve their overall academic abilities while gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and their interests.

Anne has helped students successfully apply to a variety of well-respected US universities including Princeton, Columbia, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt, Cornell and Rice.
