Monica Wang has six years’ experience working at international schools in China. She has held the positions of head Mandarin teacher and prep and senior school Mandarin teacher. She has delivered Mandarin curriculum and created systemic syllabuses and course outlines, including for IGCSE students.
Monica holds a bachelors degree from Anhui University and a masters from Shanghai International Studies University, both degrees in teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages. She is also licensed and qualified to teach Chinese language and literature to native Chinese speakers.
As a lifelong learner, she brings her passion for, and commitment to, working with children as well as the skills needed to meet the unique challenges and opportunities that a new school and diverse student body bring.
Outside the classroom, Monica has a passion for writing, reading, badminton and cookery.
