Danielle Pieters obtained a bachelors in international studies from Stellenbosch University and a PGCE (Early Childhood Education and Foundation Phase) cum laude from the University of South Africa. Danielle has three years of experience teaching internationally. She specialises in teaching English to second language learners in the early childhood phase. She was in charge of designing, implementing and teaching a well-respected and popular English programme at her previous school. Danielle believes that education is not only about academics but also about helping a child develop socially and emotionally into a well-rounded pupil. She follows a holistic approach to education.
Danielle offers the following co-curricular activities: School Christmas musical team and Model United Nations. Outside of school, she enjoys reading classical English literature, sewing and learning to play the ukulele.
